Verband Philatelistischer Prüfer e. V. -VP-

The Verband Philatelistischer Prüfer e. V. -VP- with their headquarters in Germany, was established in 2010. It is the most active and fast growing society of philatelic experts in Germany and EU countries. Their VP experts issue more than 7.000 certificates of authenticity per year.

In this rapidly changing philatelic climate, organizations need to work together, sharing information as well as philatelic ideas, and to position their added-value to their members and the philatelic community.

The members of the Verband Philatelistischer Prüfer e. V. -VP- are on hand as philatelic experts in their respective specialist fields to carry out philatelic expertising. Their task is to determine the genuineness and state of preservation of stamps, postal markings or other philatelic items and the detection of forgeries and faking of items submitted for expertising.
